This blog will be used as my way to share my hawkeye information, views, etc. Today the new BCS standings came out and Iowa was number 4. This is great and our program is reaching new heights. Now that thats out of the way. Why dosen't&nbsp; Iowa get any respect. The first thing out of the mouths of all the sports talking heads today has been that Iowa is terrible, they get lucky, or that the refs gave them the game. That is all a load of SHIT. The three plays that are being brought into question were all correctly called due to the rules as they are stated in the rule books. I don't know if ESPN&nbsp; thinks that they can just say things and expect them to happen, but the announcers need to conduct them self's better. Bitching and moaning about bad calls just lets unrest grow. Anyways, the first call that was reviewed was on a touchdown, and the ball was called incomplete on the field, and this call was correct due to the no possession rule. The next play after that replay was a touchdown so really that first one doesn't matter. The second was on a ball spot, the play was also under intense scrutiny, but really the refs were correct again. The next play following that replay, Encroachment, 5 yards, first down. So that replay doesn't matter. the final one was on a touchdown that was very close, but if you saw it a hundred times, you decided they got the call right. This play did make a difference and it was very close. Thanks for reading, check back for midweek links, updates, scatter shot thoughts, and&nbsp; pregame analysis!<br>
